Denim & Supply

After registering for a Fall mystery writing class with Gotham, I thought the time might be right for a little online school shopping. Enter Ralph Lauren and this amazing beacon blanket sweater from his newest line - Denim & Supply. Perfect to wear with last year's J. Crew suede fringe booties, old Levi's & my collection of vintage Native American turquoise.

Zing. It's mine.

1888, Tuckahoe Gate, Southampton L.I.

I found this postcard-sized invitation to The Hampton Hunt a few years ago on ebay. Everything about it, from the toile ground to the handwritten scrawl, is amazing. Today I'm bringing it to be blown up {way up} and framed for Fall @ Post & Gray. {Is it too early to be thinking about Fall?} It will hang behind 2 tufted wing chairs getting reupholstered in this oh-so-soft wool herringbone from Ralph Lauren...

Cozy.

Better Late Than Never

It took more than a hot second to acknowledge itself, but Fall has finally arrived in the Carolinas and Charlotte is quickly emerging from its air-conditioned slumber to celebrate. Bales of hay are piled with pumpkins at the King Street Farmers Market, diners are filling the patio at Big Daddy's Burgers, and dogs are hanging out of car windows all over town.
