The 'hood

One of the best things about spending time in Vermont is the neighborhood, offering so much history in one little place!

Across the street from our house is the Patrons of Husbandry Orion Grange Hall. It originally housed the 'secret society' and is now a private residence.

A few doors down is our local Country Store {fabulous cinnamon donuts found here}

Just around the corner from the Country Store is the Kedron Inn, home of awesome turkey burgers & Stella on the porch

On Thimble Farm

Sort of like Golden Pond, but different. Last week I was lucky enough to spend some time with family at our house in Vermont. Here's a little tour...

Home for Christmas?

A bit of 'weather' along the East Coast has added some complexity to our travels,

so we're waiting it out in front of a warm fire (sort of like this)

and counting the hours until we're home for Christmas (exactly like this)!

What a Day

The results of a long, hard day on the trail in Vermont & New Hampshire.  Mom took me to wonderful places full of dust and debris, and we uncovered some fabulous finds -- vintage Limoges, ironstone, apothecary bottles, out-of-print books...

All will find their way to estate @ Sleepy Poet Antiques over the next few weeks.
