I know, it's crazy, but I only recently discovered Man Shops Globe + the awesome Keith Johnson. I love his comfy clothes & shoes, the patina of his ever-present messenger bag, his salt & pepper hair, and his boundless energy in his quest for fabulousness. I don't even mind that he slept his way to the top (in fact, I love him all the more for it). Keith, call if you ever need an ordinary lackey w/ a slightly above average hunter/gatherer instinct.

The 'hood
One of the best things about spending time in Vermont is the neighborhood, offering so much history in one little place!
Across the street from our house is the Patrons of Husbandry Orion Grange Hall. It originally housed the 'secret society' and is now a private residence.
A few doors down is our local Country Store {fabulous cinnamon donuts found here}
Just around the corner from the Country Store is the Kedron Inn, home of awesome turkey burgers & Stella on the porch

Hanham Court
Isabel and Julian Bannerman, an amazing British couple who design + build gardens for the who's who of London {Jacob Rothschild, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Paul Getty, John Robinson, HRH the Prince of Wales} have made Hanham Court their home for the past 16 years. Part medieval castle, part Tudor barn, this rustic Manor house is where they hone their unique sense of design -- a mix of 'ancient' architecture and romantic, fragrant blooms.
A semi-ancient tub on their estate, overflowing with just 2 varieties of tulips and completely evocative of their incredible style, is my favorite. I just acquired a pair of these fabulous vessels, somewhat difficult to find on this side of the Atlantic. They'll be arriving, together with the rest of my late summer shipment, very soon at Post & Gray!

On Thimble Farm
Sort of like Golden Pond, but different. Last week I was lucky enough to spend some time with family at our house in Vermont. Here's a little tour...

Park Ave.
I'm on vacation and these lacquered-up beauties are heading north to a law office on Park Avenue. I love Manhattan and can't even say how relieved I am that they're going to a good home...
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
